January 04 Say It Ain't So
After taking perfect care of my iPod Video - a plastic sheet on top, a case to protect it, and even having friends and family make fun of my temporary "bubble-wrap case," my iPod has decided to stop playing sweet sounds of music. After calling my good friends at Apple, a very friendly customer service agent explained that the phone call would cost $29.00, or I could just send it in to have it fixed for an affordable $200.00 with shipping and other fees. I usually would love a good argument, but since I just got back from vacation, and since I am in a peaceful mood, I simply hung up. So, before I see who would win a fight between iPod 60GB vs. Bedroom Wall... does anyone have any suggestions? *Note - That is not an actual picture of the iPod, but I did use the same technique while waiting for my case to be delivered.
November 12 iPod Video Converter ProgramSo one of my friends who is a very good software programmer is currently working on a very cool program that can download any video on the internet that is located on YouTube, Google Video, etc. onto your iPod Video. So far, the beta program I have been messing around is flawless, and is a lot of fun to be able to download my favorite videos quickly onto my iPod. The program name (at least the Beta version) is called Ivy Video Converter, and will be released on iPodSoft.com. If you get the program, let my friend Prashant know that DaKing240 sent ya. |
